Clunes - Where i began

I chose Clunes in central Victoria as it is where the first of my family settled and I guess my hertiage in Asutralia began. Pattison Mark travelled from England to Melbourne and made a life in Clunes, drawn to Clunes with the prospect of gold. So I am currently researching my family tree and I was drawn back here. I guess seing where it all began in Australia I guess. I hope you enjoy.

I am a 40 year old dad of 6, yes 6 crazy I know. I have always had a love for photography but work, homelife, funds have always made it just a little harder to concentrate on. So I finally put some money where my mouth and heart were and brought a Canon 60D and started to take my passion seriously. Since then I dont go any where without it, I always have it in my car just incase I see something that makes me think, God that would make a great photograph. I now have a hardrive full of photo's some random, soem that a perfect to me but not so much to others, alot iof the kids and a lot of life. So to me this trip would be the icing on the cake, to show the real potentioal of my camera, to experience 8 days of living a dream and doing nothing but taking photo's for me to enjoy as well as others.
