A 'place' I have visited

I'm Sebastian Alonso from Argentina, I'm 20 years old and I study Engineering at the university of Buenos aires. Photography has been in my family for a couple generations already, and with time, I learned how to truly take advantage of my academic traveling through it.

Due to my research and science projects, I had the chance to travel to a few places. Not only that, I sought to expand my horizons with scholarships granted by the U.S. embassy or other institutions. As an example, I got awarded a scholarship to participate in the World Youth Peace Summit, where I had the chance to take a photography course and meet remarkable persons such as nobel laureates.

Later on, a university in France invited me to an intership. Was there a greater opportunity to travel through europe? I got the chance to photograph places that I had never imagined, and learn about societies extremely different from mine.

I believe I'm a great fit for this scholarship due to my adventure-seeking background, my technical skills (actually studying optics in university does help) and my independent personality. I would strongly appreciate the chance to learn from the best and take my horizons further away.
