First few days in the U S of A

Hey Guys

Well this will be my first offical entry! feels like ive been gone for agos but its only been 4 days, its so bizzare!

Im having a great time, suffering from jet lag a little bit but the red bulls in the morning keep me going!! I arrived in on Thursday afternoon (LA Time) about 1pm, cass and i got sperated on our flights as we didnt realise there was two flights leaving from auckland 2 hours apart. So i made friends with some other people on the flight who were also going to camp america so all wasnt to bad and lets be honest it turned out to be the best thing coz if i had of been on the same flight as cass i would of missed seeing brad pitt at the airport!! He was walked straight past me like less then a meter away from me i was shell shocked and looked absolutely horrible after a 12 hr flight, i never imagined meeting my future husband that way lol.

We got to the hostel about 4pm and i was wrecked as i didnt sleep on the flight, i went straight to bed and eventually got up at 2am, prob not the greatest idea as i couldnt get back to sleep untill 6am.

First full day in LA we went to universal studios for the day which was fun, that night we did a bit of shopping down melrose ave and then dinner at this kool diner called johnny rockets. Today was a bit of an adventure, we needed to get out to anahiem to check into out hotel here so we can go to disney land 2moro, we thought we might take a shuttle bus but when we found out it cost $100 we decided to opt for the train, so off we went to union station in LA me with my two giant suitcase thats weigh almost 40Kgs put together, it was a task and a half. We got to the station and the train was about to leave so the lady said we should just board with ours cases as there is not enough time to put them in a carriage, once on the train we had to try n lugg our bags up a huge flight of stairs lucky there are some nice people in LA that were kind enough to carry them up and down the stairs for us!
After arriving at our hotel almost 2 hours later we decided to go to the local shopping centre as i wanted a back pack there is no way that im gonna try in lugg 2 suitcases around the states or europe so we made our first trip to WAL MART!!! and what a trip that was..........im telling you everything is oversized and under priced, its so cheap it should be illegal!!
I didnt go crazy with buying things like you all would have expected me to do but before i leave america i will and the crazy thing is they have a maccas in wal mart had weird is that?? I heart wal mart, its awesome and im afraid to say it shits all over 24 hr K-mart!!

So 2moro is Disneyland and tuesday is Knotts berry farm before we get on a flight to NYC and start camp, Not too sure when ill be able to write again as we will have no computer access at camp for the first two weeks as its all being set up. This was just a sneak peak into what ive been doing but im sure ill have much more to write about once ive started camp!

Missing you all like crazy and wish you were here with me!!

Love you all xoxo
