<title>Photos: My Scholarship entry - Enchanted by Uganda</title>
<description>In a World of so many opportunities and wonders, we forget to look past the aesthetics and forget to look deeper into peoples hearts and minds.

On my travels to Africa, I found a hidden gem called Uganda. Many people trek to Uganda to see the Gorilla's of Bwindi National Park and I promised myself to use my camera and uncover the hidden beauties of this mystical and charming country.

With years of emotional scars and baggage I try to capture the souls of the earth and tell a story of how people try to make the most of the situation that they are dealt with.

I like to tell mini stories with my photography and look forward to future endeavours. Greenland looks and sounds like a place of serenity where I can develop my skills and learn from talented people. I thrive off passionate people as motivation comes easy when your surrounded by those at the peak of their game.

Photography is in my blood and hopefully I will one day be able to pass on my enthusiasm and skills to others.

      <title>Photos: My Scholarship entry - A place called Cuba</title>
<description>Don't let the fear of the unknown hold you back... That's what I tell my students everyday.

This journal is about a 10 day adventure through Cuba that I embarked on in 2009.

Never one to sit still I am currently a high school teacher who loves to share my photos and tales with anyone willing to stop and look.

Always traveling and exploring I look to interact with people from different environments at home in Australia or elsewhere around the World.

I love the smells of Asia, the history of Europe, the quirkiness of the Americas, the enchantment of Africa, the sights of Australasia and the love of the Pacific. But I still think I have much more to see and capture.

Ever since contracting the traveling bug I have always wanted to take that one in a million photo that everyone will talk about now and for years to come.

Being a perfectionist I try to capture experiences exactly how I see them. In turn pass on the image to readers as if they were there.

Always learning, my retirement plan is to travel the world taking photos and turn my passion into something more. Not letting anything hold me back I have managed to see plenty of places so far but would love to see Photography take me to much, much more...
