Life in Georgia

I'm traveller, photographer, artist and translator based in Moscow, Russia. I've been travelling since about age of 9 and my first on-my-own journey was at the age of 15 when I lived in a British family for a month or so. Since then adventure was a huge part of my life - I've been to most of Europe and some of Asia, tried to cover some countries near to Russia this year. I have some field experience from expedition to Vietnam in 2008 (and I lved there in 2010-2011), we were exploring languages of local ethnic groups. In those travels I always had my camera with me switching from simple point-and-shoot ones to semi-professional Nikon. I tried old Russian film cameras this year in Saint-Petersburg too. Sharing world's beauty with people is my passion, I'm always trying to find something unique in every country, something amazing, something unusual. I'm building up my courage to get into every part of life and find this one amazing photo.

A 'place' I have visited

Hello from Russian capital, my name is Olga!
This year I finished my 5 year long journey of becoming a specialist in Oriental Studies and some of that time I spent travelling to any place I can get a ticket to, taking my camera and passion to learn something (anything!) new every day. I adore places, places which are hard to get to, places lost and places newly found. I guess now I'm fully prepared to take over Greenland with all its beauty!
I can draw (with my hands), make videos (with my Nikon), so this might turn travelling journal into something even more interesting. People interacting, amazing faces and places with many details are things that make me click that big button on a camera. I hope to see amazing nuances of Greenland, probably ones no-one ever spotted before and share it with the world.
