My work is about people, telling the stories of others as well as sharing my own experiences and pain. I want to use my work to positively affect the lives of women and children and fellow artists. I am creating a residency to allow artists to travel and facilitate children's free art programming. If chosen I know that I would be able to use this opportunity to affect the lives of many other artists and create programming for at risk youth that are lacking strong education systems.
