Travel Essentials

Hello, Happy Wednesday! So where am I? Sorry I haven’t been very active on my blog lately, but I have been really busy because of Chinese New Year and I have been really uninspired. Stay tuned for a post on finding inspiration. These are some of my on-flight travel essentials when traveling for a 5 or less hour flight.

Makeup Bag: This one is a really pretty eco-friendly bag that I got from ipsy. I keep all of my skincare products and minimal makeup in here. I just bring one along one bag because having too much will weigh your bag down.

A Book: I love to bring a book along with me on the flight because sometimes headphones can get really annoying and I just want to read. This book is Shanghai Girls by Lisa See that I’m currently reading right now and I am enjoying it very much!

ipod/ipad: This is a MUST have item for me. I cannot live without them! (Haha, our world now days.) On my ipod I have all of my audio books which are my favorite things to listen to to pass the time on the plane. My ipad allows me to play games, watch movies, and read on ibooks.

Lip Balm: This is another must, I cannot live without. In the airplane the recycled air is SUPER drying to your skin, and I find myself applying lip balm every 30 minutes. I love EOS lip balms because they smell great, are organic, are all natural and they have SPF.

Camera: I like to bring a small digital camera with me on flight because I can take a little bit better quality pics than any ipad/iphone. I don’t take a big bulky one, because… it’s big and bulky! (and I don’t need it on the flight).

Headphones: OMG headphones are life savers because they block out all that excess noise and lets you listen to whatever you want with crystal clear sounds. Ahh, I like over-the-ear headphones because they block out noise more, but earphones are good too.

Travel Fan：It's always a challenge to travel outside when the scorching heat is beating down on the concrete pavement and there's hardly a breeze at all. Whether I am at church or on a train traveling through Europe, a Hand-held fan (more) is with me. It is a comforting little inconspicuous cool master wherever I go.

Water Bottle: It is so important to stay hydrated, like I said before, they air is super drying on an airplane. You really need to slather on that face cream to keep your skin from getting dry and tight and sometimes… flakey.(Eww, I know)

Clothes: Ok, don’t bring along clothes, but you should take good thought into planning your travel outfit. (It should be nice and comfy) If your flight is less than 5 hours you can go with your jeans, but it is more than five, you should go with leggings or sweatpants. (Or if you want, skirts will do fine) I like big sweaters or sweatshirts on flights because you can be comfy and warm and chic.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Stay tuned for a new outfit post soon!

Love

Beach Days

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful week and I have another outfit post for you today!

This is what happens when you try to take a pictures of your shoes and the water and the sand, but then your feet get soaked…

I was trying to write hello, but then I wrote hella instead. Then I tried erasing the “a” and wrote the “e” on top. That did not really work. I had my messy hair down today. (In fact, I have bad hair days every day.) I was trying to jump, but my hair literally got in the way every single time. So after that I just decided not to care!

Love, Katherine
