Getting nicely acquainted with my Kiev4 rangefinder, I have slowly learnt my different levels of comfort in capturing certain intimacies without being invasive - traversing the Peruvian Amazon will help to not only build on this in a different context, but to grow and evolve both as a human and as a lover of photography. I am infinitely intrigued by the ways in which individuals churn knowledge in their minds to come to their own understanding of how the world works; capturing how this is enacted, expressed, experienced and lived is what drives me to pick up a camera and shoot.
