Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Casey Miller and i just graduated from UNC Charlotte.National Geographic has always been a dream job of mine, which i'm sure a lot of documentary photographers say.I knew i wanted to be a documentary photographer after i began photographing in Haiti for a non profit organization called Bless Back Worldwide where we provide medical attention to orphanages and surrounding communities. The challenge of being surrounded by a different culture excites me.Even though i have my BFA in Photography already, there is so much that i feel like i have to learn.I still find myself falling back on the auto setting due to my fear of missing a good shot messing with my settings. To work alongside a professional field photographer who could give me pointers and further my knowledge would truly be a great experience for me.
