the big adventure https://journals.worldnomads.com/caroz/ Sun, 12 Apr 2026 11:53:24 GMT World Nomads Adventures Arrived in NZ today bright and early , it's great to have the whole day ahead. Took a shuttle to Eden Park B&B , what a great place , like being at someone's home (mine for a couple of days). Met up with a friend and spent the day touring . Went to Devonport for lunch at the Mecca cafe,very tasty. Headed out to wine country but everyone was closed ? oh well . While in the country got my first try at driving here, I'll do just fine , even though I did get lost...for a while... BUT found my way back to my friend. The important thing is I stayed on the correct (left) side of the road and didn't panic...maybe just a little for a moment .I kept it together and drove us back into town and we had a laugh about it.
