I love photography and how it allows us to capture and show an emotion, a feeling, or a piece of beauty in the world. The camera has an ability to alter something ordinary and make it special. I have been traveling, trying to capture the world in my own way, but I can only take myself so far. I've been all around Europe with my trust camera. However, I dream of trekking through swamps or hiding in trees, trying to capture that perfect photo and this contest is one way to do that. It would be a dream.
