Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I've been an incidental photographer since I was a kid. I kept experimenting with any kind of device that allowed me to capture the image of a hidden reality people constantly overlooked, simply because it wasn't standardized or understandable. I'm 32 years old now and it wasn't until 2 years ago, when my wife gave me my first DSLR camera that I realized I shouldn't just keep these pictures for myself, but I had to share them with everyone so I could get what that their perspective and understanding of my concept was. It was only natural. Art is universal and sees no barriers, so us, artists, shall take what our senses produce and deliver it to the world. I want to become a professional and take my photography to a place where it stands as a teaching of that vision. These pictures represent a series of Dreams and Stories captured in the Colonial Neighborhood of La Candelaria, in Bogotá
