Photos: Trekking Ramon Crater, the Israeli desert

My name is Dan. A year ago I began my career as an inspector and archaeologist in the Israel Antiquities Authority. During my routine work I spend my days in the outdoors protecting antiquities, and in the process I get to absorb our wildlife. I photograph archaeology, natural environment, reptiles, mammals, and plants, and in addition to taking photos during my daily routine, I love sharing photos and their context from other regions I travel to. I consider the chance to travel to such a remote and distinct region as Greenland with an experienced wildlife photographer to be a rare opportunity, which I could learn from, appreciate and experience to a level I never did before. I believe that Mr. Edwards can offer me an experience that would guide me towards taking amateur photography to a serious level, combined with two of my greatest passions: traveling, and adventuring. Taking part in this scholarship would give me a wonderful chance to pursuit travel and photography professionally, and I believe that I have an original angle to add in this regard.
