Photographers/Artists of yesteryear captured images in a time when the motion camera did not exist. Through their images they could tell a story within a single frame. These photographers were truly great artists. With the digital evolution, the true photographer really is a dying breed!! I like to study images but there is only so much you can learn from books. You gain more knowledge by constantly trying new perspectives & techniques but nothing can compare to assisting a true professional like Jason Edwards. Over the years I have travelled quite a bit capturing many beautiful landscapes along the way. Greenland, A vast island with so little population, an unforgiving landscape, I am truly intrigued. I have flown over Greenland a few times and wondered about life on the island. It would be a huge honour to travel to “Kalaallit Nunaat”. To assist and learn, to bring back stories and images, images that tell stories!! Hopefully my images will tell you that I have a huge interest in travel photography and whilst they may not be perfect there is a foundation for great improvement.
