      <title>Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited</title>
      <description>Sam Houston High School is the only high school on the east side of San Antonio, Texas. It is known as "The Pride of the East Side. But for a school that is continuously rated academically unacceptable, many of the young men of Sam Houston turn to football hoping to bring some pride to their community, avoiding the streets.  In 2011 Sam Houston Hurricanes would make what seemed like their final run at the state championship, something the seniors who made up most of the varsity team had dream of since they were freshman.</description>
