Hello, my name is Brendon and I graduated from a photography degree in mid-2012.

Photographs and photography have long been my passion and I am now at the stage of finding my voice within this creative world - I hope to do so by assisting established photographers and learning from them. If I am chosen to travel and shoot in Oman, I hope to learn more about shooting beautiful photojournalism. I want to become more confident with approaching strangers in order to get shots. I want to use this experience to learn dig to deeper into a story. I want to be given the opportunity to challenge myself whilst working alongside professionals.

Before graduation, I found myself working in Cannes, at the annual film festival. I was struck by the cult of celebrity and documented aspects of this. My story talks about the barrier between celebrities and non-celebrities. I created this work in order to show a different side to the festival, and celebrity culture.
