We met up with Graham and Loraine, Fred and Pat and Ron and Barbara on the Highway at Bomaderry just after 8.30. We had got out of bed at 6-15 which was a bit early for us. Must have been excited about getting going.

Our first stop was in the Truck stop on the Picton Road to meet up with Peter and Rachel together with John and Coral. We had morning tea in this not so good area (the toilet stunk) before heading off through Picton on a scenic drive to Camden where we joined The Northern Road for Windsor. The views along this route were very good up over the “Saddleback Range.

We finally arrived at Windsor in time for lunch and we drove over the Hawkesbury River and parked in a lovely park on the banks of the river where we had lunch. The Jacaranda trees are all in bloom and looked magnificent
