Bigwill goes to OZ

first month

Its been a month and so far everything is good. The group of people that arrived to go on the ranch with me were cool. I immedietely bonded with a girl called rhian. Theres a guy called dan who looks like mr bean. Two sisters called rhian and lisa and 2 girls called lois and sarah. We went to the zoo again and basicly spent the week bonding and drinking.

At the end of the stay in the hostel we all got very drunk and i got caught in the middle of lois coming onto me on one side and me and rhian flirting on the other. That night me and rhian ended up kissing no thanks to dan who also had a thing for her trying to block me .lol

On the monday we went to the training ranch with a massive hang over. we got there and bought some work clothes and Hats. Then we went and fed the horses. it was really hot out there but we soon gor used to it. On tuesday we split into 2 groups. Unluckily i gor stuck in a group without rhian and was with a group of german girls who couldnt really speak english very well. We started off horse riding in the morning and i cant remember what i did in the afternoon.lol

The rest of the week consisted of quad biking ,motorbikes ,fencing tractor driving and a day of m,ustering and seperating cattle.

Pretty much every night we had steak for tea. I definetley could get used to that . On the friday we bought a lot of booze and got very drunk and after a lot of flirting me and rhian finally got together. woop.

Most peope went to their jobs the following day but i was going to head to mine on monday . I spoke to my boss a few times but then didnt hear from him. This worried me a bit but headed up to townsville anyway . I spent the night there and still didnt hear from him so i thought it wasnt a good idea to go further int the outback without information so i headed back to brisbane.

I now have a job which i start on saturday in perth . I will be on a sheep ranch working for a couple. I get $500 a week plus accom and free lamb and mutton.

Im going towork there till new year then get a campervan and pick everyone up from their jobs and spend my birthday in sydney with everyone.

I arrived after a really long flight, after which i was ridiculously tired. I ended up sleeping all day once i got into my room boring but i needed it so bad .lol

The next day i ended up meeting some people who are also on the ranch program .Unfortunately they werent in my goup. They were awesome and we all got on really well. Together we went to the botanical gardens and the artificial beach in the middle of brisbane. We also went to australia zoo which is steve irwins zoo . We fed kangaroos and elephants and held koalas its an amazing place. The last night the group was here we got very drunk and chatted a lot of shit so good times.

Today im off to the xxxx brewery where apparently i get free samples lol . Tomorrow is when my group arrive so im well looking forward to that.

Hey

Just arrived in the hostel. Its 8am and i cant believe how hot it is already. The flight was painfully long thank god i managed to sleep for some of it. Im going to get my room key soon and just pass out for a few hours.

Im here for 2 weeks before training begins.

Hi everyone Just 2 weeks to go and I think everything is sorted now and getting quite excited. Got my insurance and my ruck sack, my flights are also booked. Now ive just got to wait and also decide cowboy hat with corks or without or just a baseball hat lol. Ive chatted to some people who are going to OZ as well and everyone seems cool. Im heading out a week early so i can get over my jet lag and chill out and in true will style find the cheapest bars. Anyway my next entry will be in the airport before i get on the plane. will
