Sorry to all who may have checked in on this journal while I was in Australia, hoping to read of my adventures. Believe me, I had 'em. I just never really had the time combined with the internet access to drop in my photos (I took over 700) or dash off even a quick note. I was usually lucky to email a friend or relative to let them know all was well. I've been back a few weeks and my life picked right up where I left it off and then some. I haven't even decompressed from the trip yet! So needless to say I've barely started to edit down my pics and remember where I was when this or that happened. I will attempt to let you all in on it as I at least start posting photos. Keep an eye out, and I'll let you all know when it's worth a glimmer. Thanks for looking.

The Trip and The Welcome

Spent a restful day with friends in L.A. and am now getting ready to head into the world of the TSA, baggage handlers and waiting in line. Chuck and Belinda were perfect hosts as always, since they always have one or two friends staying with them. I almost want to spend 3 weeks here but since I do have all these reservations I should probably suck it up and spend them IN AUSTRALIA!
