Festival - Fire and cattle

India, a land of celebration, land of festivals. While entire India celebrates Diwali, this small village near our locality celebrates it bit differently. They involve cattle in the celebration. According to locals the tradition started some 2000 years before. And that attracted our attention towards this unique festival.

In terms of our experience, I have worked as a film maker and have made films for various not for profit organisations. Ishani, has a very little experience in presenting. But we both are travel freak; we want to travel entire globe and take out small stories of human interests through the medium of films and photography.

With the help of this scholarship we will enter the world of professional travel film making. We will learn a lot about film making and travelling both. Winning this scholarship is like dream come true.
