As much as I love the two disciplines, my life has been filled with nothing more Photography, Video Production, Graphic Design, Script Writing: radio and television, and Journalism. I believe that I should be chosen for the scholarship for the following reasons: Being an inspiring photographer from a third world country I have a unique interpretation of what is aesthetically pleasing through the lens. My aforementioned background and capabilities makes me both self reliant / sufficient in visual communication be it film or photography. I am accustomed producing high-quality work under tight deadlines with the bare minimum of camera equipment. my favorite types of production are traveling films. 1 lens, 1 camera. and a barrel of creativity. Finally it will be ground-breaking if I am selected. World has heard of great photographers from Europe, North & South America Asia, even Africa; but an image-maker from the Caribbean?.
