The opportunity to experience with the amazingly talented Jason Edward and to work with National Geographic is truly once in a life time. It makes me nervous and giddy just thinking about it.

My passion for photography often gives me these butterflies in my stomach. The thrill and excitement I get from capturing a great photograph is like nothing else. I believe travel is the most fulfilling adventure there is in life, that seeing new things is the greatest way to learn. I am positively addicted to both photography and travel. I love to immerse myself in my photographs, really capture the feeling and emotion of the moment. I try to teach the viewer about what I have learnt from my adventures; i like to them feel like were there too.

I want to travel the world as a documentary photographer, capturing culture and beauty from every corner. The amount I would learn from this experience would be such a head start for my career. I have so much to give yet I have a lot of growing and learning to do. The scholarship would teach me about technical and practical aspects of travel photography. The confidence and industry knowledge I would gain would be invaluable.
