Hi, i'm Yuri Barichivich and i'm 22 starting out freelance photojournalist that think a unhealthy amount of time about travel photography. Seriously, my mother is worried i'm sort of obsessed about the idea of being a travel photojournalist to a single-minded extent. I honestly can't tell why i really should be chosen between so many people and i'll be happy just to know that someone got this amazing opportunity, even if isn't me. Don't get me wrong, i really want this, but call me naive, i know a lot of people deserve it too. I'm gonna take the short approach to this. I love travel photography and i practice everyday within my own city, discovering and rediscovering places, people and behaviors of the local culture even living here for 4 years. The same apply to myself, to make the pictures, i try to know how i fell first, how the place and the people affect me to convey the mood that i wish to bring upon my own work. Cheerful? Sad? That depends truly on what i fell before the picture, during it and after.
