A 'place' I have visited

I was born and raised in an island of the Ionian, the sea lying at the western side of Greece. During the summer season my family resided in a small house situated in the middle of a valley. Not far away lived a reclusive farmer in a hut; he made his living doing odd jobs, but being a poor man he was treated by locals as an outcast. Ever since I can remember myself I wanted to get to know him: learn about his fears, the things he loved, how he perceived the world around him. But back then I was little and photography was not a part of my life. And it was photography that allowed me to express the untold parts of my soul.

I find nothing more exciting and worth telling than human stories; in a world where most people actively seek to draw attention to themselves, some individuals and places prefer to withdraw into their own sphere. My intention is to recount the story of their lives.
