The first time I thought about it, about the possibility, about a dream that can actually became true. I have never traveled abroad, and the few trips I made, here in Peru, were when I was a little kid, we are talking about 10 or 12 years old, so as anyone can imagine those were not consider travel experiences for me, they were more like a family trip. Half a year ago, leaning in my bed, a thought came to me, as usual a silly thought, a dream, a "never could be", and that was traveling to Europe, get to know the old continent, and the obsession began. I started searching places, flights, money, people I know there, everything that concerns getting the backpacking trip of my life. It is simple and at the same time complex; simple as a trip and complex as a epic journey, the single idea of getting to know a country, a land different than mine, is sublime for me, every single street, avenue, little store or square for me will be like a new discovery, like a wish come true. For me, a man that grew and live in a third world country, it is like keeping a tiger in a cats cage, I feel like a belong somewhere else, somewhere bigger, and I have the feeling that I soon will get to that place. I feel like a musical note that needs to be hear all over the world, I am myself and amateur musician with the heart of a writer, a composer maybe an artist. I some times feel like an archaeologist, one that wants to rediscover things, the Eiffel tower, the Tower of London, the Roman Colosseum or Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, everything its a new world for a traveler, every person its a new story to be hear and more important every challenge its a step to climb. Luckily I have enough guts and strength to get to the place of my dream, to accomplish my goals. And for anyone that gets to read this, thank you for investing the time to read about the dream of a man, of a kid, of a dreamer, without more to say remember this: "life's a journey not a destination" and by the way, thanks to Steven Tyler for quoting it. Keep planning, keep dreaming and keep going further.
