Photos: Children of Vietnam highland

I don’t know exactly when I have the first camera but it is a compact one that my father gave to me as a present when I got good marks at school. Using it, I have many nice family albums I kept until now. Time by time, I have more chances to go my further trips and its time I got a new DSL one by myself. It becomes my partner that I must be with in my journeys.

Photography teaches me how to see and observe the world around me. I love how everyone sees the same thing in different ways, how play with the light and color on their own level. Photography captures my deeper emotions and I do it when words become unclear.

Travel means that I always moving. It seems to be conflict with my job, a software engineer, a man only sitting at office with a computer and his code. But two of them balance my life better.

One day, I read this scholarship and I think this is my opportunity to improve my skills and knowledge in photography. Especially in this trip, I will be guided by Jason Edwards, a National Geographic photographer with many experiences. With his help on assignment, I hope I know how to be a photographer and what I do after this trip to achieve my purpose.

Photos: Good morning at Chandni Chowk, Delhi, India

Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Slowly walking on the spicy road in the early morning, i tasted and enjoyed all what belong to India.
