When I left school at 18 like all others I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do with my life. Then I start at a job. Then I blinked & 6 yrs later I was a successful Business Analyst, but I wasn’t truly happy. I had to do something to discovery what I want to achieve with me life. February 2nd 2015 I left Sydney to travel the longest way to London. I travel for 4 months through what was the best adventure that my life had shown me to date, through South East Asia, India, Turkey and parts of Europe. During this trip I started to do something I hadn’t expected. I filmed it all. I found a balanced way of filming my adventures without removing myself from the experience. During the long bus/van/truck rides I would edit the videos on several apps on my phone. I wanted to inspire my mum to see the world and anyone else that would watch.
Now in London I’m heading back to Sydney cutting my 2 year visa very short. I had intended to do what many Aussie to which is come here and drink for 2 years, but I can’t after all this time, I know what I want to do. I want to make travel films. I have to come back and study film techniques, travel advice, and inspire people to travel. Given this opportunity I will fully apply myself to the teachings of Brian Rapsey and I believe I will achieve what I am meant to in life.
I’m a 24 year old fun, adventurous, dedicated, and outgoing young Sydney guy. I have been through the worst backpacking has to show you I know I can do this. This is my start.
