Au-Pair Adventures in Gelato Land https://journals.worldnomads.com/aupairadventuresvenezia/ Mon, 27 Apr 2026 06:24:00 GMT World Nomads Adventures <p>Well hello guys&nbsp;</p> <p>Ended up moving my blog from google as google hates me and deleated all my writing so I got mad!</p> <p>Annnywaayy ...</p> <p>I explained in my previous Blog about the nature of au-pairing as a Job - how it works and some of the ups and downs. (I will repost it on here at some point)</p> <p>The main point is that you are childcare that (usually lives with the family) and in return you get 'pocket money' (usually between 60-100&pound; a week) and food and free accomadation.</p> <p>Well with this kind of job you seem to get really nie faamilies you get on really well with or shockers! There are some amazing-ly bad stories online about the treatment of some au-pairs, and even from my freinds experiances.&nbsp;</p> <p>I am very very lucky here!
