I don't give up. I believe in following your dreams and cultivating your passions and talents. I believe that opportunity, discipline, and an open mind are necessary for refining skills and defining possibilities. I also believe that you must build a strong foundation of skills below you before you can reach the dreams above you.

This opportunity to work with Jason will help continue to build a very important foundation. What I have is passion and a belief that I can affect positive change in the world through photographic documentary and storytelling. What I need now is experience and direction, guidance and framework, and a chance to take my skills to the next level. I need to better understand the process of a project and improve my skills to take an idea or cause and create story that people not only see, but also feel. I am beyond ready to focus my abilities to learn and relearn, to inspire and be inspired, to be challenged, and to step out of my comfort zone.

I choose photography because it's powerful and it can truly change how someone sees the world and their place in it. I choose photography because it challenges me, it changes me, and it brings out the best in me.

Live with purpose. Love with purpose. Travel with purpose. It’s my Mantra. My love for photography began as a child with a Polaroid and never stopped. As an adult, I love that the language of photography inspires emotion and action. I am passionate about photography, adventure, meaningful moments, and chocolate. For me it is important to inspire and be inspired, to learn, to teach, to be compassionate, to embrace change, and attain excellence as well as maintain an open-mind and positive attitude. I have much to learn (and re-learn). I am driven to take better photographs to better represent the stories, people, and places I visit. I would love this chance to identify and improve my strengths and weaknesses. I hope to be inspired by the process as much the people and places. I want to take images that contribute to the art of photography and to the lives, moments, and faces in front of the camera. I want my future to involve photography that inspires and to continue my quest to teach and motivate people to live with purpose, love with purpose, and travel with purpose.
