I have always had a passion for photography and dreamed of taking pictures for a living. However, the realist in me convinced myself this could never actually happen. So when starting school at the University of Arkansas I decided to major in General Business. A semester into school it was apparent to me that I was unhappy. I could not settle and give up my dreams. That led me to switch my major to Journalism and try to enhance my knowledge of photography. Now I am trying my hardest to make my dreams become reality. I revel in capturing the beauty of God's creations and all of life's wonderful moments. Too often people take the world we live in for granted. Photography is a way for me to take in and cherish my surroundings. I strive for my captures to tell a story. To be mentored by Jason Edwards is a reward in itself, but to also experience hands on what it is like to shoot for National Geographic on location is a dream!
