The day began with my normal chaos. Last minute tasks like getting the car ownership transferred. Doing grocery shopping for Jonn, and that last minute packkng - to the last minute as Bub arrived to pick us up and we set off for the airport 30 mins late. Luckily we had plenty of time to fit in a small lunch (champers and a beer for John). Exhaustion set in as I dropped myself into the luxurious 767 leather seats. Some delay before we could take off - some extra crew were arriving from another flight, but after a pleasant journey we arrived ln time in Sydney. My luggage came out in the first few bags and I wandered around to the Shuttle bus to Aurport Hotels. Another pleasant room at the Stanford Hotel overlooking the airport, comfort food, some red wine and off to bed in anticipation of the big journey tomorrow
