Festival - Dancing with the Gods

Its been a while since globalization hit India in a big way. The result, we, the 20something's are fast losing our enthusiasm for significant cultural events. This year my good friend, Yashhraj Siingh and I decided to immerse ourselves in this yearly tradition - dancing on the streets on the 10th day of Ganesh Chaturdashi (festival) rather than treat it as a day off from college. All in all a good day, seeking a new experience at a festival in our backyard was a good way to get to know the legend behind the Elephant God.
I, Aneesh Malankar, am studying film in Mumbai. Im always in search for a good story and what better way than to travel.
Yashhraj and I have been friends since our school days, hes an actor, dancer and loves the gym.
So this is us - Dancing with the Gods. Cheers!
