Yesterday, I met with Ruth in the morning and we went to the museum in Reading to view a replica of the Bayern tapestry. Andy came and met us for lunch and then he and I drove to London for one last jaunt.

We hadn't realised that a Gay Pride Parade had taken place that day, so the scene, as we stepped out from Oxford Circus onto Regent Street. seemed somewhat apocalyptic.

The company at dinner was wonderful: great to see Ryan and Laura. So tired on the way home that we parked at the services for a nap.

Due to poor footwear choices on my behalf I ended up walking barefoot home from where we parked in Reading.
