Is it a dream? Reality overpowers me… I feel lost. I try to understand the meaning of life. I try to make life worth living. I travel. I travel from Italy to the East, looking for something or someone. I arrive as far as Taiwan and Tokyo. Both the nature and the city make me fell small and confused. I feel tiny like a grain of sand when I look at the ocean. I try to acknowledge my limitations when I peer at the line of the horizon. I feel out of place when I observe the skyline of the urban texture and i try to understand my texture… I like to travel. I like to feel lost. I like to meet new people and to find again old emotions. I like to get a smile out of people I meet in my trip. A hidden smile or the flicker of a gaze. I understand that friendship is really important in my life. I understand this when I look through a cookie the slanting eye of a friend of mine. It looks like a Buddha’s eye of several statues I have seen in Taiwan… I like to take photos and I hope that my photos could touch the observer, get a smile out of him or arouse a reflection. I try to capture these moments by my camera, extension of my eye.
