Cold tiles

There was 6AM and I was coming back from dancing all night long, knowing new people and having fun with my friends.

I was walking on the street, near my apartment, without my shoes. I was carrying them on my hands and something amazing happened while I was enjoying my feet's relaxation: a boy came near and he asked me why I was walking barefoot. I turned around, I saw him and I see his opened and sincere eyes. He smiled with a hint of worry and shame for daring. I looked him again and I smiled too. Then I said: "The tiles are cold, it's great to feel it when you've danced all night long". He kept looking at me, he crouched and tooked one of my fingers while said: "take care of them, your walking is so beatiful, I care about you".

He didn't know me and I didn't even known him. Nevertheless, his eyes and his words painted a smile on my face and some hope because people can be good without any other pretension.

THIS IS THE KIND OF DAY-TRIPS THAT I HAVE WHILE LIVING ON BUENOS AIRES
