Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I recently went for a 14 day backpack trip to Tibet and it is truly a paradise on earth with mesmerizing beauty, breathtaking landscape and story telling faces of local people. I have tried to capture these three elements in my photos uploaded here. They are captured in and around Lhasa. I have tried to bring a local flavour to the photo that tells about sky, land and its people. I am a reporter with a biotech magazine and love to travel to places, observing different ways of living. Tibet was one of my dream destination and I am proud to see the place which has got so much of unearthed beauty. Monks, women with red cheeks, thukpas, multi-colored braided hair, turquoise rivers, beaded jewellery and the list goes on. All these facets give a unique shade to Tibet. South Africa is my another dream place and I would love to travel with my camera on.
