A Vida é uma Viagem (Life is a Journey)

I love South America.
I love travelling.
I love making films.
I've been living in Brasil for two years, in Rio's biggest community, Rocinha. I love to discover new places, new people and other culture. Obviously, Colombia is on the top of my bucketlist. I also love foreign languages as I think that speaking local language is the best way to get in touch with people, that's why I speak French, Portuguese, English, German and Spanish; this last one could be a really good key to be able to make the best documentary out of the trip.
Apart from that, in Rio, I'm involved in a project of my university where we work with a community of traditional fishermen and try to help them defend their rights. I would love to make a documentary about this community, and this scholarship to Colombia would be the best experience to show me the way.
Thanks for offering this opportunity, You won't get it wrong if you choose me.
Alex
