A 'place' I have visited

I found my love for travel photography while cycle touring Wales when I was 20 years old. This was my first real adventure, and I found myself wanting to capture every moment of it. Every rising cloud, every mountain, and person I met along the way. I wanted to tell my story though a unique perspective, trying to instil people with the same wonder, and sense of adventure. Since then, I have tried to extend the scope of my experience through passion, adventure and creativity.

My name is Daniel Alford, and I want to be a photographer. Im drawn to beautiful places, and I'm lucky to live in such a country as Wales. Over the years I have dedicated my spare time to capturing, and sharing the beauty of the country which inspired me to find my main passions in life, creativity, and adventure.

If I were to be chosen for this amazing adventure I would benefit hugely as a person, and as a photographer. To meet a National Geographic photographer would be a dream come true, and to learn from such a photographer, in an incredible country like Greenland would be a completely priceless experience. My dream life is to travel, and share my experience to others through photography.
