Why should i win? I always has a deep interest in film and everything i have learned so far was self taught. I´m a photographer but i have noticed that im shooting film more than taking pictures. I have just came back from Marroco and found out i had way more film in my memory cards than photos, this must mean something... Winning this would give me the opportunity to lean more about film and enhance my skills as a videographer which i would love deeply to happen. Plus travelling? What else would i want? Please make this happen! If you would like to see more videos i would love to show them.

Hi!

I am Alex from Porto, Portugal and i would love to consider my self as a professional photographer. Yes, i would love to make a living in photography and yes, i know how hard that is.

When i was deciding my next step after high school the idea of going to photography school came to mind, actually, it flooded my mind, it was the only thing i could imagine doing. My mother always told me to do what i love or else i could be miserable doing something i dont enjoy for the rest of my life. So, i went to photography school knowing that it would be hard making a living out of it. But i believe thats part of the essence of being a photographer, being an artist... An artist will live under a bridge if he needs to, in order to pursue his passion.

I currently work at a hostel, and i see new travellers and hear new stories every day. I want to have those stories, i want to travel and do what i love.
Pick me and help my achieve my hopes and dreams.
Teach me how to make it!
