Photos: My Scholarship entry - The soul(s) of Europe

Well, I've always been rather curious and creative. When I was a child, I used to draw or paint anything that caught my attention. I wanted to show other people how I saw the world, to show them what I found amazing and maybe they hadn't noticed. You can easily figure my excitement when, some years later, I discovered photography. It quickly became one of my greatest interest. With the passing of time I mainly focused on finding my way, I chose the highschool and university that most suited me. Travelling was my prime wish (my mother regularly tells me I have had itchy feet since I learnd how to walk), so I've studied foreign languages and become a translator. Therefore I travelled a lot and discovered my passion for other countries and cultures. Last year I went through a difficult period when I was abroad alone, taking pictures gave me something to be happy with. In that moment I realized that perhaps photography could be more than a mere hobby. I am aware of the fact that I am still far from being a pro, nonetheless for once I want to listen to what others say and believe that maybe this might actually become my job. Give this wonderful opportunity to me and I won't let you down
