My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

I am a South Korean girl, currently I study Political Science and Journalism at the University of Montana, Missoula, Montana, USA. I want to be a pollitical correspondent after I graduate. I have a heart for letting people know something that no eye hasseen and no ear has heard.

Also I love traveling! I am such a nomad backpacker! I have been traveling to India for a month, when I was 13years old with some of my friends, a trip to India was life changing experience, basically, I found my self in India. Who I was and How blessed I was.
And when I was 17 years old, I left home again, to New Zealand by myself, when I dropped high school and took GED test to graduate the high school. (If I did not drop the high school, I would have been just graduated from high school in S.Korea.)
I lived in New Zealand for 12 months, I worked and studied in NZ, also traveled in Australia for 3 months. While I was traveling in NZ and AU, I met tons of American friends and finally I came to the states in December 2009, ended up in Missoula Montana, which is kind of random place to be as an international student. But anyway I love Montana though, I had always wanted to go to Alaska so much, when I though about the USA, Alaska had been always the first thing to pop up in my mind. God was still faithful and I was a fortunate. I met a friend, who's from Alaska and I could go to Alaska and stay at my friend's house for free for the last whole summer.

These pictures are all taken in Alaska and they are non-retouch pictures.
I have so many of the Alaska pictures, over 50Gs so It was too hard to pick only 5 out of 50Gs.
But I chose these pictures with one theme.
Honestly, there were better options to choose but I chose these 5 pic, because I wanted to tell a story with my 5 pictures based on one theme.
My theme for these 5 pics is "The Nature of Nature".Such as

'A smile of nature'[_IGP2152] , one morning I woke up and went out with yarning to the garden that in my friend's house. As soon as when I got out, an amazing smily face took my attention. They were dews on the surface of a leaf, I was so so so suprised , impressed and excited!!!

'moon calendar of nature'[_IGP6896], which means high tide and low tide activities. How phenomenal is that the moon pulls&pushs back and controls the oceans?

'Natural frames of Nature'[_IGP6991][P1000852][P1000991], I don't think I need frames for these 3 pictures if I print them out, they are already in or have frames by nature!

The summer nature of Alaska was stunning!!! Hope you enjoy and like my pictures! :) Thank you so much!
