The time, location, and subjects will never be the same and every second brings new possibilities. I think should be chosen because there was always something Greenland which spoke to me but I told myself what are the odds I will ever see Greenland in my life. My girlfriend and I recently took a trip from Los Angeles to Italy. For some reason the plane's route was not a straight line but a high arch, eventually flying over Greenland. I was so intrigued and in awe of the endless views of snow and mountainous terrain. I saw formations from above that were so great, I could not imagine the scale from within. I was captivated the entire time we flew over it and saying to myself, I never thought I would see Greenland. When we returned, having seen the effect Greenland had on me, my girlfriend found this contest and here we are now! I want to see Greenland from the ground. I want to experience it on a personal level. I want to see what something barely touched and preserved through millions of years feels like.
