My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

I traveled alone to the beaches of Southern Thailand in the summer of 2010 as part of a more encompassing trip while the country's tourism industry suffered ripple effects of civil unrest in Bangkok. The beaches were empty, but the weathered boats that carried on during the disastrous 2004 tsunami were a testament to the resilience of Thailand in good times and bad.

I love traveling, I love photography, I want to learn as much as possible about the craft and gain as much insight to the world from a personal perspective.
