My Photo scholarship 2012 entry (Turkey) https://journals.worldnomads.com/adriuss27/ Wed, 15 Apr 2026 11:39:50 GMT World Nomads Adventures Photography is a freedom condition, a way to capture just a moment, a method to compose histories, a unique sensation of observing without being viewed. A process to develop patience, a layout work and a way to develop creativity. For me, Photography means butterflies in my stomach or a knot that desappears with a “click”. An introspective method and a self-consciousness, a sights dance, a crossing of instants. Whenever I take a photo my heart beats stronger, and adrenaline runs thuough my body; my entrails get removed. Photography gives me the possibility to show who I am. It makes me laugh and cry, it makes me shudder, or allucinate, it gives me peace. It helps me to transmit without words. With a camera in my hands, world goes round, events occur, but my world stops; there’s silence and my heart beats quickly up to the moment I shot. Photography is for me like Soul music: the soundtrack of my life, my personal poetry, a pending subject to be learned. I think I deserve the scholarship because I know I have a potential and nobody has given me the opportunity to demonstrate it. I have a talent and nobody has trusted on me.
