Adikythira Island

Our story begins in Adikythira Island which is a small island in Aegean Sea between Crete and Peloponesse.The length of this island is only 12km and the width 7km. At the twentieth century, in this beautiful small island archeologists discovered the first proportional computer.The natural beauty and virgin scenery predominates. There you really conceive the idea of pure beauty. In the sea you can find rare species of fishes and on the mountains different types of birds and animals. Adikythira has 30 villages but only five of them are residential at the present time.The island has only 30 inhabitants and their many occupation is fishing and hunting.Living in Adikythira gives you a sense of tranquility and peace. People that are living there seem like heroes... The rhythm of life is slow and they have knowledge of the real meaning of life.I am one of them and after these years the feeling that i have is freedom.

Outside from the life that all we know, in any country that we found ourselves, away from the passivity and lie, in a very small island called Adikythera in Greece with company my camera we visited this year at the end of July this island. My photographs characterize the life and the power of nature that predominates in this island. Also elements of my character and my personality that i cannot express with the words, the story begins through them...
