My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm Antonija (26) and I'm from Croatia. Having a masters degree in law requires rationality, which is why I express my passion through photography. I'm addicted to traveling, and do so as much as I am able to. An opportunity to go to a place as exotic as Oman would be a dream come true.

I grew up in a picturesque village in Slavonia and attended school in Osijek, surrounded by historicist architecture and many friends. I think being in that sort of an environment may have helped to grow my love for photography.

I'm a hard worker, meticulous, sociable and open minded. Which is why a week of hard work will not be a problem at all for me, I would only prosper if I got a chance in your program.

My favourite settings for taking photos are large gatherings like weddings, where there’s a lot of opportunities to capture spontaneous photos of people having fun. Socially conscious photography is something of special importance to me, because it a point of contact with my law career where I’m specializing in human rights. I also love taking photos of open spaces and skies, there’s just something majestic in skies.
