Photography was the one thing that sustained me through a difficult situation over the span of a few years. Making pictures helped me digest and make sense of my world, limited as it was, and provided an escape at the same time. Late 2012, I made the decision to sever all ties to my existing life and really make sense of the world. I got rid of everything that wouldn't fit in a human sized bag and a smaller backpack and am on the brink of life as a nomad. I've had the fortune of receiving many helping hands when I was completely down and out, and I could spend the rest of my life paying it forward and still not settle the debt.
