Yusuf Martin is a former Englishman, writer/Poet who holds Masters Degrees in
Art History & Theory and Gallery Studies, with a first degree in Philosophy,
now living permanently in Malaysia.
Yusuf currently writes columns for The Malaysian Expat magazine and the
Ipoh Echo, as well as articles for Senses of Malaysia magazine, simultaneously
published in Singapore. He has written for The Star newspaper, UT Today and The
Malaysian Insider, in Malaysia.
Yusuf’s short stories and essays have been published in Malaysian anthology
volumes by Silverfish, MPH and Matahari Books, as well as online in webzines
like Project Malaysia, the Singaporean - Writers Connect and the Australian -
Specusphere, while his voice has been heard on Malaysian BFM radio and his
increasing girth witnessed on Malaysian NTV7.
