At the Sunda Kelapa harbor (Jakarta), the longshoremen transfer the gas cylinders by kicking them. Working days that pass one after the other, all the same, so inured to risks that they don't even care about anymore.

The Sunda Kelapa harbor (Jakarta) is almost unchanged over the centuries and the longshoremen unload the ships still by arms and hand trucks.
The work is hard especially under the midday sun and the risk of accidents is always around the corner.

Gunung Bromo, up to the top of the volcano and way back on horseback. Local guides earn money from those tourists that don’t want to face the tiring climb of the volcano and prefer to pay for an horseback ride. More tourists more money, more climbs more money, despite the worn-out horses that suffer more.
