Ecuador

A roadblock set up by local people protesting against the North American Trade Agreement. We were hitching a lift on the back of a lorry which they did not allow through but we were allowed to walk across. A car with some tourists in it thought that they could drive through until they were stopped by the crowd who started to let their tyres down. They turned back like everyone else.
